"Uttama Villain" is an upcoming Tamil film starring Kamal Haasan, Jayaram, Urvasi, K Balachandar, K Vishwanath, Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah.The movie has been directed by Ramesh Aravind.The story and screenplay has been written by the Ulaganayagan (Kamal Haasan) himself.
The title "Uttama Villain" meaning a Virtuous villain has already made a buzz with its trailer within two days of its release.The film will see Kamal Haasan in double roles,one of an 8th century drama artist and the other a 21st century film star."Uttam Villain" will also mark the directorial debut of Ramesh Aravind in the tamil industry.The director has won many accolades for his previous films in Sandalwood (Kannada film industry).Kamal Haasan will be seen donning multiple looks like in many of his films. M.Ghibran composes the soundtrack album and the background score for the film.
"Coming to the trailer - It looks very promising with something new to offer.There are loads of movies which have the lead characters playing dual roles nowadays and most of the times the story revolves around two completely different generations.This movie too seems to be of the same sort but the characters of a drama artist from the 8th century and a film actor from the current time period is what seems unique about the story. It would be interesting to know what the story would be like with shades of these two characters.Each frame in the trailer is of great quality. Kamal fans as well as others will have huge expectations from this movie and we will have to wait for it to release to know if it wins hearts and strikes gold at the box office."
