"Tevar" is an upcoming bollywood film directed by Amit Sharma. It is a remake of director Gunashekar's 2003 telugu movie Okkadu. Tevar stars Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead roles.
Pintu (Arjun Kapoor) is a kabbadi player who has a desire to achieve something in the game.On the way to fulfill his goal he sets out with his team for a kabbadi tournament during which he meets Radhika (Sonakshi Sinha) whom Vijender Singh (Manoj Bajpayee) forcefully wants to marry.Tevar is the journey of how Pintu saves Radhika from Singh and also achieves his goal.
The trailer seems to offer things which are different from the original movie.Action seems to be the main essence of the movie.Tevar is scheduled to release on January 9th 2015.
