"KILL / DIL"-Movie review

Synopsis:

Kill/Dil  is  about  two  shooters  Dev (Ranveer Singh)  and  Tutu (Ali Zafar)  who  work  for  Bhayaji (Govinda)  a  local  goon. Killing  is  nothing  but  a  daily  routine  for  these  two  until  Dev  meets  Disha (Parineeti Chopra). Both  of  them  fall  in  love  with  each  other  and  Dev  is  all  set  to  drift  away  from  his  life  as  a  shooter  and  lead  a  decent  life  but  that  is  not  what  Bhayaji  expects from  Dev. Its  either  Kill/Dil  for  Dev  and  to  know  what  he  chose  you  would  have  to  watch  kill/dil.


Cast:

The  movie  stars  Ranveer  Singh, Ali  Zafar, Parineeti  Chopra  and  Govinda  in  the  lead  roles. Ranveer  Singh  is  energetic  as  always  and  does  a  great  job  playing  a  shooter.Ali  Zafar  does  a  good  job  to. Parineeti  Chopra  does  not  have  something  special  to  do  but  she  delivers  what  her  role  demands. Govinda  does  a  great  job  too  but  you  hardly  get  to  see  much  of  him  especially  in  the  first  half.


Direction:

Thw  movie  is  directed  by  Shaad  Ali.The  direction  is  above  average.There  are  many  things   which  are  unexplained  in  the  movie.A  few  things  which  defy  logic  too.There  are  situations  when  the  songs  pop  up  and  you  don't  even  expect  one  at  that  moment.The  direction  could  have  been  better.

Music:
There  are  many  songs  in  the  movie  and  only  few  are  good. Sajde  by  Arijit  Singh  and  Nihira  Joshi  is  one   of  the  good  songs  among  others  like  Sweeta and  Kill Dil (Title song).

Bits &  Pieces:
The  story  gets  a  bit  dull  and  lacks  pace  in  the  second  half.The  story  is  predictable.


Overall  Kill  Dil  is  an fine  movie   and   I  fell  that  it  could  have  been  better, way  better.
